Bio
Mr. Greg Blackwell is a seasoned veteran of the financial
services industry, with 27 years of proven results. His impact in the industry has been felt from coast to coast as he has mentored teams and individuals, holding numerous leadership positions in sales
and sales management. His credentials include
a BBA from Georgia State, graduation from the Security Industry
Institute’s Advanced Program at Wharton, and multiple industry licenses
and accreditations.
From
1987 – 1997, Mr. Blackwell held multiple leadership positions with
Fidelity Investments. He ran two branches in
Atlanta and New York City while also leading
marketing initiatives at the home office. While at Fidelity, he assumed various roles
in sales, sales management, and product and marketing management,
expanding his career experiences and capabilities. Prior to joining
Fidelity, Mr. Blackwell held several direct producer roles, launching
his career as a proven top sales performer.
Mr.
Blackwell spent over 6 years as a regional and then district manager
with River Source Distributors, managing a team of nine wholesalers in
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and asset management. In this
role, he achieved record sales results each year with annual increases
up to $80 million in new assets. Before coming to River Source, he
spent time as a wholesaler with both Smith Barney and Paine Webber.
After
leaving the Division Sales Manager role at Sun American Retirements
Markets, Mr. Blackwell began coaching executive and high level
producers in the securities industry, offering them the support and
guidance to achieve the same dramatic results he has learned to attain
by his own carefully constructed methods.
